Discover the ancient temples, the rich culture and, of course, the world-class trails of Chiang Mai!
DAY 1 Welcome to Chiang Mai
Welcome to Chiang Mai! An ancient walled city of leafy green trees, winding alleyways, gentle inhabitants, and spectacular cuisine, it can make a good case for being the most charming city in Thailand. Get ready to discover the ancient temples, the rich culture and, of course, the world-class trails of Chiang Mai!
In the afternoon you will meet up for a short briefing about your trip in Chiang Mai. It’s the perfect moment to get to know your running buddies, and your guide and the experienced team that will take you out on the trails will make sure everyone is on the same page about what to expect in the coming days.
With that out of the way, you will make your way up to the centuries-old Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, located on the mountain west of the city. It is one of the most spiritually remarkable temples. After taking in the sights and learning about the history of the temple you’ll experience a unique blessing and witness the chanting of monks: an awe-inspiring moment that will give you plenty to think about. You will gain a sense of balance between earth and sky as you behold the sky bursting into different colors during sunset.
To end the evening, you will enjoy a local dinner in a local restaurant.
Meals included: welcome dinner
Overnight: hotel in Chiang Mai (check-in hotel starts at 2 PM)
Transfer airport -> hotel is not included
DAY 2 Chian Mai - The Temple Run

By the time you reach the top, you can be sure that your body is awake, and your heart will be pumping. The reward for your effort is some breathtaking views of the valley below.
After the temple, you will continue the run into some fun trails through the forest. The terrain is fun and varied, with a couple more challenging sections scattered along the way. Perfect to get a feel of what trail running in Chiang Mai is like. As you make your way down back to the valley you will get to enjoy some more magnificent views as you return back to the starting point to complete a loop.
You’ll head back to the hotel where you will have time to freshen up and relax until the early afternoon when your guide will take you to explore the old town of Chiang Mai and some of its most iconic temples.
