TESTIMONIAL

As an international attendee, I was a little nervous about what I would be experiencing All of my expectations were exceeded in every way.  The race logistics and coordination were top-notch, the scenery was absolutely stunning, the course was technically challenging, and the support was excellent.

New Zealand is an outstanding place for an international runner to participate in an event such as the Routeburn.  There are many wonderful attractions in addition to the race. I thoroughly enjoyed an overnight cruise of Doubtful Sound, a 4-wheel drive safari of Skipper’s Canyon, and a jet boat tour of the Dart River. Queenstown is truly the adventure capital of New Zealand. I highly recommend the Routeburn Classic to all trail runners who are up for a challenge.  I’ll definitely be back again.
