of the Gold Coast Marathon tour I
thought I'd pass along our impressions.
The bottom line: we loved it. We liked
the busy itinerary and the fact that we
had a free day at each location. We
found plenty of options for those days,
and we were able to rely on mass transit
to get us there. We also liked the
accommodations first rate comfort and,
in each case, very conveniently located.
The good mix of events on the schedule
was nice as well. The race was a lot of
fun - perfect running weather and a start
time for the half marathon that put sunrise
about five minutes into the race - what a
view! And I absolutely shattered my
half marathon PR!
